David ARTZI, Chairman of the Board

 

• Over 40 years of experience in very large cross borders transactions generating multimillions deal and bring to BrightStar is huge experience in international deals and management position.

• In his last position, David was VP and General Manager at Bedek Aviation Group, and VP for Commercial and Civil Aviation at IAI Corp.

• During this period, Bedek Aviation Group became an important function in the regeneration of IAI (Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd.), and one of the world leaders in the field of Passenger to Cargo Conversions. In 1997 Bedek Aviation Group was the Winner of the prestigious Flight International Weekly Aircraft Maintenance Award, at the Paris Air Show. In 2004 Bedek Aviation Group came First in an Aviation Week industry survey, on the subject of Aircraft Maintenance provided to US airlines.

• In addition to his functions at IAI Corp, David held several Chairman and board positions in the most prestigious companies and institutions: Chairman of the Board – ImageSate, Chairman of the Board - Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute, Chairman of the Board – Empire U.S.A, Chairman of the Board – P.S.F. International, Chairman of the "Buy Israel" Forum in the Manufacturers' Association of Israel, Member of the Board of Directors, 'Otsar Hahayal' Bank - Chairman of the Audit Committee.
